It is a sobering reality that 1 in 4 children in Australia will experience some form of abuse before they turn 18 and most will never speak about it.

In 2017–18, 1 in 35

159,000 children received child protection services, an investigation, care and protection order and/or placed in out-of-home care.

1 in 4 girls and 1 in 7 boys

as likely as non-Indigenous children to receive child protection services, and children in Very remote areas were 4 times as likely as children from major cities to be the subject of a substantiation.

Based in Perth, Western Australia, the WA child Protection Society is a leading trainer and educational hub in child protection services, protective behaviours and domestic violence training.

Our trainers come with over 100 years combined experience in the child protection industry and are committed to providing up to date cutting edge educational and training services. Our trainers have experience in law enforcement, crime prevention, education and teaching, social work, counselling and psych services.

Our founder was inducted into the Western Australian Inaugural Women’s Hall of Fame as a Pioneer and Leader in the Child Protection Industry.
